Kate Mulgrew Biography: Kate Mulgrew was born April 29, 1955 in Dubuque, Iowa. She made her first big move at age 17, leaving for New York City to study acting. She was immediately was cast in the 1975 soap opera Ryan's Hop, playing the role of Mary Ryan. In 1988, Kate returned to television to star in the award-winning drama, Heartbeat. She is popularly known for her work as Captain Kathryn Janeway in the Star Trek series, Star Trek:Voyager. |
