L’11 gennaio inizia ufficialmente la lavorazione del nuovo disco “Terrestre”. Il 2 marzo si esibiscono in concerto al festival Tora!Tora! di Mantova; il 27 aprile sono protagonisti in piazza Castello a Torino con i Linea 77 e il video di “66(diabolus in musica)” che hanno realizzato insieme. Il tempo trascorre fra prove in sala d’incisione e altre performance dal vivo come la partecipazione al Traffic Music Festival di Torino. Il 16 luglio i Subsonica firmano il contratto con la EMI e nasce la label Casasonica: fra le produzioni ricordiamo Sikitikis e Cinemavolta. In settembre esce il DVD “Cielo Tangenziale Ovest” e il giorno 22 dello stesso mese si esibiscono nel Concerto per Piero alla Lega dei Furiosi, dove presentano tre brani inediti. In dicembre inizia la registrazione dell’album “Terrestre”.
2005
È l’anno del nuovo album “Terrestre”, composto da 14 canzoni che rappresentano tutto l’universo musicale dei Subsonica: il miscuglio di vitalità ritmica e vocale ben intrecciata con gusto per la sperimentazione e la sapiente miscela di suono energico e poetica suburbana.
