LFO the duet techno house LFO, originating in Sheffield in England, is composed of Mark Bell and Jez Varley. Their first singles We are Back, Freeze and Love is The Message extracted the Frequencies album as well as the single Tied Up extracted from their last Advance album marked in an indelible way the British scene techno. Frequencies left in 1991, that is to say three years after the formation of the group. Before working on their second album, the duet collaborates with Alan Wilder de Depeche Mode and Karl Bartos de Kraftwerk. It is only into 1995 that Advance appears. Since, Jez Valey launched out in a career solo and Mark Bell worked on the Homogenic album of the Icelandic artist Björk. LFO means Low Frequency Oscillator. It is about a component for synthetizer.
