Aaron Carter
| Biography |
Aaron Carter released his first album December 1, 1997 when he was nine. The eponymous debut album Aaron Carter was a great success in Germany. His second album, Aaron's Party, was released in the United States under the JIVE Label. While the album did moderately well commercially, "Aaron's Party" was considered by many music critics to have juvenile lyrics and substandard singing.
Despite the critical condemnation, Play Along Toys released an Aaron Carter Doll.
His next release was the EP "Let The Music Heal Your Soul" (May 18, 1998) This song was a fund-raising project that featured vocals by Carter, the Backstreet Boys, 'N Sync, the Moffatts, and other artists (collectively referred to as the Bravo All-Stars after the German youth magazine Bravo).
Oh, Aaron was released August 2001, and featured his first duet recording with brother Nick.
His next album, Another Earthquake (September 2002), included the patriotic-themed hit song "America A O."
Most Requested Hits (November 2003) included hit singles made since Aaron's Party as well as a new single, "One Better".
Carter's CD single "Saturday Night" came out March 22, 2005. The song is featured in the Popstar soundtrack (October 2005) which also includes live concert renditions of "I Want Candy," "One Better," and "Do You Remember." |
