Biography

Ivan de Pineda is originally from Argentina, but his hectic modeling schedule has made him a temporary resident of four of the most important cities in the world - Paris, Milan, London and New York. He is probably one of the most admired figure in South America, reaching an equivalent status of a Hollywood celebrity. Aspiring male models look up to him as their role model, and he has every reason to be just that.

Born in Madrid, Spain, Ivan however grew up in Argentina. At the age 17, Ivan was discovered by the legendary photographer Bruce Weber upon a photo shoot. Ivan's facial features are not perfect, but certainly etched with characters and provoctivity, which soon caught the attention of major photographers and designers. He landed his big break when carrying out an advertising campaign for Diesel. To date, Ivan has been featured in Kenzo, Moschino, Versace, Verri, DKNY, Gucci, among others.

Ivan's success in modeling came in as a shock that he bagged more than five blockbuster ad campaigns within the first two years, which was unheard of. Ivan also is one of the best male models for fashion editorials, where you can see him on the covers of major magazines such as ELLE and Italian Vogue; and one of the best ramp male models to ever walk the runways of the fashion capitals in the world.

Ivan's career hasn't been limited to just modeling. He is seen frequently on television in South America, where he takes on small screen roles, and hosts TV shows. Without a question, Ivan has become one of the celebrities with a great number of fans worldwide.
