Came 3rd in Bild-Zeitung's poll "Germany's Most Erotic Men" in August 1998.
According to the 11 October 2000 issue of German newspaper "Berliner Morgenpost", Burkhard is leaving "Kommissar Rex" when his contract expires in November 2000. His departure probably means the end for the series as he's been criticized much since replacing Tobias Moretti and the producers of the show will probably not be willing to search for a new actor once again. This has not been confirmed up to now though, but it is very unlikely that the show will live on when Burkhard leaves as the ratings have taken a downfall since he made his entry. |
