As many other MotoGP riders, Troy Bayliss felt taste of motorcycle racing on dirt bikes, at the age of 10. After some time on dirt and motocross bikes, Troy spent one part of his life in surfing, bicycle racing and similar sport activities, before deciding to try road racing in 1992, at age of 23.
