Biography
Fabrizio Ravanelli (born in Perugia, December 11, 1968) is a former Italian soccer player. He has played with a half-dozen European teams, among them Perugia, Juventus, Marseille, Middlesbrough, and Derby County. Known as the "White Feather" in recognition of his prematurely whitened hair he was one of Europe's top goalscorers in the late 1990s and made an immediate positive impact on moving into the English Premiership with Middlesbrough though his success was not sustained. Alienated himself from teammates and fans with his constant complaints and criticisms of Middlesbrough, despite reportedly being the highest paid footballer in the world at the time.
