Like his international team mate Umit Davala and compatriot at Inter Milan Emre Belozoglu, Buruk has struggled in the competitive world of Italian football this season.
Scored three times in the qualifiers to back up his reputation as a goal scoring midfielder and he also has great battling qualities.
Started in eight of Turkey's qualifiers and he is a certainty to play this summer if he can prove his form to coach Senol Gunes.
