Euzebiusz "Ebi" Smolarek (born January 9, 1981 in Łód, Poland) is a Polish footballer who currently plays for the Polish national football team and Borussia Dortmund. He grew up in Holland, where he learned how to play football. He went through the Feyenoord youth system and made it all the way to the first team. He is a striker for Borussia Dortmund but plays midfield for the Polish National Team. Ebi is the son of another Polish international, Wlodzimierz Smolarek. For the Poland, Smolarek has scored three goals in his ten appearances.
