Brett Hull

Español Français Deutsch Italiano

Biography
The son of the great Bobby Hull, Brett is a pretty good scorer in his own right. He joined the NHL's Calgary Flames for just two games in the 1986 Stanley Cup playoffs and was called up from the minors again late in the 1986-87 season.

In March of 1988, Hull was traded to the St. Louis Blues. He won the Lady Byng Trophy for combining skill and sportsmanship in 1990 and the Hart Memorial Trophy as the league's most valuable player for the 1990-91 season, when he set a record for left wings with 86 goals, adding 45 assists for a total of 131. It was the second of four consecutive seasons in which he had 100 or more points.

He joined the Dallas Stars in 1998 and spent three seasons there, then signed with the Detroit Red Wings for the 2001-02 season
