| Biography |
Journalist and professor of Economy, were chosen liberal deputy in 1904. Minister of Economy, Industry and Commerce (1911-14) and of Property (1917-19), happened to Trimming like head of the Government in June of 1919. Its mandate was marked by a deep political and social crisis, by the height of the fascismo and the incapacity of Socialists and republicans to please coordinate its efforts in the democracy. It submitted his retirement application in June of 1920. Reelected deputy in 1921, one moved away of the policy after the triumph of Mussolini and it did not concur to the elections of 1924. Later one settled down in France, where it was stopped by the Germans during World War II. Prisoner in Austria, was rescued by the allies in 1945 and could return to Italy. He occupied a bench in the Senate from 1948 |
