Ruggedly handsome TV actor with some film experience. Urich kicked off a small-screen career that has spanned three decades as Bob, in the short-lived ABC TV spin-off of Paul Mazursky's feature film "Bob & Carol & Ted & Alice" (1969). From there he moved to the series "S.W.A.T" (ABC, 1975-76), playing the first of several kind-hearted characters whose job it is to protect the innocent. Among Urich's more notable series are "Vega$" (ABC 1978-81), "Spenser: For Hire" (ABC, 1985-88) [his two most successful to date] and "Soap" (ABC, 1977), in which he played a tennis pro who was killed off during the first season....
