Raised in South Carolina, Orlando Jones discovers the pleasure of playing on scene at the university of Charleston. Jones creates his own box of production Homeboy' S Productions and Advertising whereas it is only student. A tourist come from Hollywood the reference mark and allows him to make his great beginnings. It attèle initially with the writing of the series The Different World, spin-off of Cosby Show. In 1995, the comic emission Mad TV enables him to take its true first steps as an actor. After two seasons, it leaves the series and obtains its first role with the cinema in Sour Grapes, the first film of Larry David, Co-creator of the Seinfeld series. From this moment, Jones will connect turnings with small roles in Magnolia, Office space and Liberty Heights in 1999. In 2000, it makes appearances noticed in The Replacements and Endiablé. But it is especially the commercial for 7-up in which it praises the benefits of the aerated beverage which will make it famous to the eyes of the American public. In 2001, it divides the high-speed motorboat with David Duchovny and Julianne Moore in Evolution of Ivan Reitman. In 2003, after having played in Biker boyz, it animates its own emission The Orlando Jones show on American chain F/X. |
