Matthew DavisMatthew Davis (Jim Paxton) appears in two motion pictures this fall. In addition to Tigerland (2000), he stars in Sony Pictures' "Urban Legends: Final Cut (2000)," in the dual role of Travis/Trevor.
Davis became interested in acting while attending the University of Utah. He spent a summer in New York, where he performed in several plays, including "You Can't Take It With You," "Antigone" and "Romeo
and Juliet." Davis then headed to Los Angeles, and within three months landed lead roles in Tigerland (2000) and "Urban Legends: Final Cut (2000)." Davis recently finished production opposite Ben Affleck and Cuba Gooding Jr. in Michael Bay's "Pearl Harbor (2001)."
