Mark Hamill has his place in cinema history as Luke Skywalker, the hero of the first trilogy of the Star Wars film series (1977-83, with Carrie Fisher and Harrison Ford). Since then Hamill's career has been extraordinarily diverse, from the kitsch classic film Corvette Summer (1978) to acting roles in CD-ROM games and voice roles in several cartoons, including Cow and Chicken, Batman: The Animated Series and 2001's Justice League.
Between filming his first Star Wars movie and The Empire Strikes Back, Hamill was in an accident that left his upper lip scarred. The filmmakers accounted for the scar in the script for the sequel |
