ack Lord is initially made know thanks to its talents of American footballer at the University of New York. It begins its career from actor in Broadway, where it is noticed in the very first production of "the She-cat on a roof burning" of Tennessee Williams. From the years 1950, it appears especially with television, playing, generally, of the cold and malicious individuals. Before being known like the inspector Steve Mc Garrett, of the famous Hawaii series, Police force of state, Jack Lord interpreted several roles whose that of Felix Leiter in James Bond against Dr. No In addition to his activity with the cinema, Lord had a passion for painting. Two of its works were bought by New York' S Metropolitan Muséum of Art. Reached by the disease of Alzheimer, Jack Lord died out on January 21, 1998 in Honolulu of a stroke |
