Ben Foster

Biography

Ben Foster was born in October of 1980, in the great city of Boston, but his parents quickly herded him to Fairfield, Iowa. The heartland was certainly quite a change from the busy world of city-life. The 6'0" actor knew his passions early, and at the age of 14 started working at the Interlochen Arts Camp for Acting, where he began to hone his skills for the craft. His first big role came with the Disney series "Flash Forward," which offered him great footing to establishing himself as a hard-working actor and giving him good grounds to move up. And move up he did! He quickly landed a role on the critically applauded, commercial flop "Freaks and Geeks", and his biggest role came soon after that. He signed on to costar in the Kirsten Dunst film, Get Over It, a teen comedy that looked to be a surefire hit. From there, it was pretty much down hill. Off the screen, Ben has been linked to his on-screen love interest and costar from Get Over It, Kirsten Dunst. Besides his dashing good looks and his incredible talent as an actor, he probably won Kirsten over with his creative writings, one of his favorite hobbies. He's also quite the witty guy, responding to the "What would you be doing if you weren't an actor?" question with "Being an unemployed actor."
