Biography

X-japan is the Japanese Rock band. There are 5 members in the band. The first one is the Leader of the Band, Yoshiki Hayashi. He is the most important person in Producing, Arranging, Writing - most of X-japan songs were made by Yoshiki. Here are some details about this man.

Yoshiki was born on 20th of November, 1965. In Tateyama city, Chiba Province of Japan. He's learned piano since he's only 5 years old and in thea age of 10, he's started learning Drums. It sounds to be the great beginning on Musical Road, doesn't it ? Of course, it is. His closet friend since they were still be children, Toshi, the Vocalist of X-japan, had joined him when they were in the same High School. 'Kiss' , as well known as the most famous Vishual Rock Band in the US , performed their performance when Yoshiki was only in
Primary School and he had a chance to watch them...who knew that it was his inspiration and his dreams having his own Rock Band. 'Noise' is the first band formed by Yoshiki and Toshi, of course it is Rock Band. Though it was not quite going well but they still had on trying...the giving up was not even in their mind such only a second. And one day..they decided to go to Tokyo.

Another 3 Members who are also important persons in X-japan. Hide, the Guitarist who is so popular in his unique hair and dressed style, was persuaded to be one of member in X by Yoshiki. He almost had been a hair-cutter..if there was no phone call from Yoshiki. Another 2 members are Pata, another great guitarist who spend most of his life time with a bottle of whisky and , I think, he is the neatest in X, and Taiji, the Bassist. Taiji dressed so cool as a western cowboy! I don't know him well, cuz he had left the band long time ago but he's also had lots of fan. So , after Taiji had left the band, Heath was a new Bassist of X instead and he showed his first talent for X in a mini album called ' Art Of Life', around 30 minutes long. Stopping cunfusion among X in many countries especially in The U.S. so Yoshiki changed it to be X-japan until today..and forever.

They started their performance first time at one of a live house In Tokyo. Of course, it was very hard to be accepted from the audience and another reason - because of their music style - Rock , Heavy and Dreesed..So there are two kinds of fans, who like and dislike them. As always..they
never gave up and one day..they had got what they reamed..
performing the concert at Tokyo Dome, the Greatest dream of Japanese artists, certified that they are one of well-known bands. Their Live concerts were so real with music souls and all the members did their best so they became famous in Japan day by day. Of course, they were number one in a page of Japanese Rock Music.

Because of Yoshiki, The leader, had his own base in Classical. So their music style appeared as mixing between rock and classic. He is one of the top ten drummers in Japan , who can play drums as speed metal. In the same time, his talent on Piano, had showned in every of X-japan Ballad Songs, of course they are very beautiful. It sounds to be strange about people who can play the difference such like that with both good of them. And it is his unique, X-japan's stlye, and that's
why many people had fallen in love in their music. Yoshiki is
also a famous Japanese producer. Most of X-japan songs were
produced by him but he also accepts other ideas from other members, such as Hide, and considers what should he put into the album to make it be the best as much as he can do.

So..X-japan..is not only as Yoshiki, but they are Toshi, Hide, Pata, Heath and Yoshiki, as he said. Toshi, has his unique high voice so every X-japan song were written only for him, by Yoshiki cuz it's not easy for another singer to sing them. So..after Toshi asked to quit from the Band in 1997, X-japan seemed to be gone into the End of the Legend..The last page of the last chapter..

On 22th of September, 1997. Yoshiki annouced clearly to disband X-japan. Every member sat calm there with obviously sad appeared on their faces. The only member who was not there was Toshi. They performed the Last Concert called 'The Last Live' on 31th of December, 1997 and
ended the concert with a brand new song, 'The Last Song', with the sad lyrics as saying good bye to all their fans..and another thing was also hidden in this song... Tears and sadness were everywhere in the air of Tokyo Dome that day. Not for only the fans..but ..Yoshiki..knew that his dream was going to the end by done of his closet and dearest friend.

There was a news that Yoshiki and Hide would reform X-japan
again in year 2000. But..it seemed no luck with them and X-japan was really to be only in Legend after 5 months later. Hide'd left the world on 3th of May, 1998 without saying any good bye to such only one of his friend. He died calmly, with his 34's, in his apartment - committed-suicide, hanged himself on the door open in his bedroom. How sad Yoshiki and all the members were? Yoshiki imediately flew from Los Angeles to Tokyo as soon as he heard the news. The Sadness of the story had already explained by itself..Hide's Fans..are obviously very very sad. There are some of their fans
try to committed-suicide as he did. But as always , I think , it was an accident becuase it was found that he had high limitation of Alcohol in his blood..may be he drunk. But it's still be the mysterious death until today. Unbelievable that the end of X-japan would be like this. Poor Yoshiki..How tears you had lost..how sad you had received..It's life.

Since 1987, X..and now 1999..X-japan..are still shining in our hearts. Even though there are only their music left with good memories pages..we'll never forget you, X-japan. Thank you Yoshiki for creating your music, they are as food for human souls. Please keep working on and don't give up until your last breath of your heart.
