Biography

Since child it expresses a great artistic sensibility: dance, paints, performance and he/she writes stories. The love for the art grows with the poetries of Rudyard Kipling and the poetic lyric of Jim Morrison, but the natural evolution of its talent is expressed in the music: to the eleven year-old age he/she writes his/her first texts and it composes melodies.

1995
To the sixteen year-old age he/she meets to a test-tube Caterina Caselli, that immediately realizes his/her talent: the year later Annulled signature with the Sugar his/her first record contract.
To eighteen it departs for Berkeley, where to the Fantasy Studio he/she works to the songs of the album of debut Pipes and flowers.

1997
To end May goes out the first single Sleeping in your hand. On September 22 is published the album Pipes & flowers, produced by Conrad Rustici, that conquers the triple disk of platinum in Italy in little time. Annulled it is author of all the texts, written in English, and of the music.

1998
From Pipes and flowerses are drawn out three individuals: Sleeping in your hand, Labirinth and Á. feast for me. Annulled it wins the Tenco Prize and the P.I.M. (Italian Prize of the Music) as good work before. You shows excellent performer live with the exhibition to the Heineken Jammin ' Festival of Imola and as special guest in the European tour of Eros Ramazzotti. In October it engraves the single Cares Me - produced by Darren Allison (Skunk Anansie, Spiritualized)-that you/he/she is inserted in the reprint of the cd Pipes & Flowers.

2000
On May 5 goes out the second album: Asile's World (Asile is Annulled contrarily simply writing), anticipated by the single The Gift a song devoted to his/her mother. The disk is signed by the producers Darren Allison, Howie B (U2, Bjork), Roberto Vernetti, Mauro Malavasi and Leo Z. Of this album are published other two individuals: Happiness Is Home and the title-track Asile's World.

2001
It engraves his/her first song in Italian: Light (north east sunsets), written in December of 2000 and produced by Conrad Rustici. The videoclip is turned by Luca Guadagnino.
The original text in English, translated from Annulled with his/her mother, it boasts the collaboration of Sugar in the version in Italian. With this passage Annulled it wins the Festival of Sanremo 2001, accompanied by the arcs of the Solis String Quartet. The jury of quality-presided by Gino Paoli-it invents a prize he/she waits for for her: good interpreter of the festival.
Annulled it sings in Bologna in front of ventimila people for the opening of the Futurshow, to Genoa to the Goa Boa, inserted in an international cast that understands Manu Chao and Tricky and to the concert of Christmas in Vatican.
On November 9 goes out the third album Then comes the sun and the evening you/he/she is elected good Italian artist to the Mtvs European Music Awards of Frankfurt. On November 26 wins three prizes to the Italians Music Awards as good female artist, good individual and good musical composition.
Heaven out of hell-devoted world to his/her mother as Gift of Asile's-it is the first individual of the album Then comes the sun. Alexander Di Alatri turns the videoclip, which you/they participate the world champions of skating on ice of it Barbaric Fusar Poli and Maurice Margaglio and the actors Stefania Rocca and Fabio Volo (protagonists of the film Casomai, direct really from Of Alatri). 2001 is closed with the concert of December 31 in the plaza of Olbia.

2002
To end February Annulled sings the hymn of Mameli-riarrangiato from Michael Centonze (Jovanotti, Pavarotti) in key jazz-during the ceremony of closing of the winter Olympic Games of Salt Lake City (Usa): its exhibition is a sort of passage of the deliveries to Turin, where in 2006 the next Olympiads of the snow will be developed.

(with the sun in forehead). new triumphs Reach the P.I.M. (Italian Prize of the Music): good artist female and good individual, naturally the pluridecorato Light (north east sunsets).
In August the album Then comes the sun becomes double disk of platinum in Italy and you/he/she is published in over winds nations-among which United Kingdom, France, Germany, Spain and Holland. The disk is a greatest hits of the three albums of Annulled.
Rainbow is the second individual drawn by the cd Then comes the sun. The third song is Dancing, inserted in the sonorous column of two films: To time for dancing of Peter Gilbert and Casomai of Alexander Di Alatri.
In the month of October Annulled it to the Theater Massimo of Palermo as protagonist of “Ellis Island”, a musical work on the theme of the immigration with music of Giovanni Sollima, the regal one of Mark Baliani and the texts of Roberto Alajmo.

In December it earns three nominations to the Italians Music Awards: good female artist, good albums and good tour. For the second consecutive year, it exhibits him to the concert of Christmas in Vatican.

2003

In spring Annulled part for Los Angeles to begin the job of study with the producer American Glen Ballard that it brings to the realization of the new album from the title Pearl Days in exit on October 15.
