Tiffany "Blu" Cantrell was born in Providence, Rhode Island. Blu Cantrell was really into music at a young age - especially jazz. Blu Cantrell's mom was a jazz singer and Blu had plenty of opportunity to see her in action because her mom couldn't afford a babysitter. Whenever she had a performance she would take Blu Cantrell and her siblings to the show. As a young adult, Blu Cantrell found comfort in music - it helped heal her broken heart from love gone wrong.
