Since then, she has acted in the Fox hit, The O.C., and secured modeling contracts and appeared in Maxim magazine. Ashley Hartman was born on August 31, 1985 in Orange County, California. When Ashley Hartman was 4 her parents divorced and she and her sisters moved in with their mom.

Ashley Hartman had been singing since she was very young -- growing up, she sang songs from Disney’s The Little Mermaid. Ashley Hartman was the soloist at her middle school and performed at all of her school’s talent shows.

In high school, Ashley Hartman pursued other activities, becoming involved with cheerleading, cross-country, and ASB (Associated Student Body). During her junior year of high school, Ashley Hartman heard about American Idol.

"I heard about American Idol over the radio and kept it in the back of my mind. I had only seen one episode before. There were thousands of people on the day of auditions at the Rose Bowl!" she said.

Ashley Hartman was soon signed as a recurring character on the Fox television hit, "The O.C.", playing Holly Fischer.

Ashley Hartman has since been signed with Origin Talent and Nous Model Management.
