Just outside the Everglades sits the crown jewel of Southwest Florida: Naples. It's in this town, on the shores of the Gulf of Mexico, that Suzanne Lee Stokes was born on July 9, 1979. The area is a popular destination for tourists in search of sun-filled entertainment and Suzanne's family was all about trying to get some of those tourist dollars.
Since she can remember, Suzanne has lived on a miniature farm. In fact, her parents operated a tourist attraction that was often mistaken for a zoo. They had hogs, ostriches, alligators, panthers, and emus, all for the amusement of tourists. But the happiest person in the area was Suzanne because she absolutely adored animals.
Still, living in a small town was hard on her and she tried to make life as interesting as possible. To break the monotony, she spent her high school days playing softball, basketball and volleyball.
Another popular activity in the area was boating. In spite of everything, Suzanne didn't find much to complain about and is rather grateful for the environment in which she was
