Lily Cole is a model living in London. She was first discovered by scout turned actor, Benjamin Hart at the age of 14 while out with friends in Soho. She began to work with high-profile photographers including Nick Knight, Steven Meisel, Juergen Teller and David Bailey. Cole has appeared on the cover of British Vogue four times, the first with model Gemma Ward, photographed by Nick Knight. She has also appeared on various catwalks including those of designers Alexander McQueen and Christian Dior and in advertising campaigns for brands including Prada, Chanel, Anna Sui and Hermès. Her distinctive porcelain skin and flame coloured hair have keyed into a current prediliction for ‘Pre-Raphaelite models’. Cole continues to prioritise her education however, and is committed to finishing her A-levels in Philosophy and Ethics, Politics and English and plans to continue her studies at degree level.
