Kate Groombridge

Biography

Born on February 9, 1980 Kate Groombridge was raised in a small village in the region of Kent, England. Modelling was in her fate to be so called otherwise the kind of environment in which she was brought up did not suit the modelling world. Modelling came to her by luck when a family friend of hers suggested that she send her photographs to some modelling agency. Kate found her way in the modelling world and soon she started working a s a professional model.

She made the beginning of her career by posing for a number of teens magazine. But as she grew up she signed her first contract with Gossard Lingerie. This also made her the brand ambassador of company's new "Ultrabra Superboost" bra. This was a big hit and was thus beneficial to the company too. But soon some controversies rose as the Gossard commercial campaign was deemed too racy for British households and restricted to rotation in movie theaters.

This was just the beginning. Kate became the face of Gossard's entire line of products -- including the "Ultrabra Airotic," an inflatable bra that launched in March of 2001 to a waiting list of more than 100,000. She also appeared as the cover girl for both FHM and Esquire.
