| Biography |
I was born in VA, but raised in Jacksonville (Atlantic Beach), FL.. I graduated from the University of North FL with a Bachelor's degree in Communications / TV Broadcasting and a minor in Psychology. I am an AFAA-Certified Group Exercise Instructor and PADI-Certified Open Water Scuba Diver. I love snorkeling, sky-diving, gourmet-cooking, gardening, sewing/knitting, and experimenting with acrylic paint on canvas. I enjoy listening to all types of music except for really twangy country music. I specifically like alternative rock, Jazz, and Classical music. There are two things I have yet to experience and would love the opportunity to do so soon -- (1) Visit Greece (which I'll be doing next year!) and (2) Learn to snow ski.
I have two sisters and one brother, all of whom are younger than me, married and have children. I have two children -- a 15-year-old daughter and a 2.5-year-old son. My husband is a pilot with the U.S. Navy. My family (nuclear and extended) is my number one priority. Nothing else matters without their love, respect, and support. Sometimes, people don't learn the importance of family until it's too late. I happen to be one of the lucky ones (big smile). |
