After winning the first Star Search in 1988, Zoe was set to make records in local TV history. She won the Most Popular Actress award for two consecutive years in Star Awards 1994 and 1995.
Her productions have often scored viewership records such as The Unbeatables (voted Most Popular Serial in Star Awards 1994) and Love Knows No Bounds (highest ratings for telemovies in 1995).
And again in 1996 when she won the heart of viewers with The Unbeatable II. Zoe is also the first TCS artiste to have her own pictorial, giving her the chance to showcase her many faces that has earned her the title of the Beauty with a Thousand Faces.
Zoe's breakthrough came in 1991 when she acted as an immature school-girl who goes through a string of personal upheavals in Pretty Faces. From then on, she has proven her versatility in diverse roles such as Truly Yours (comedy)£¬Teochew Family (nostalgic drama), Golden Pillow (melodrama), Angel of Vengeance (action thriller), Shadows in the Dark (horror thriller) and Love Knows No Bounds (light-hearted drama). |
