Parker Christian Posey was born on November 8, 1968, in Baltimore, Maryland. She and her fraternal twin, Chris, were born prematurely and their parents, Chris and Lynda Posey, didn't expect them to live. As a result, Parker was hastily named after 1950s model Suzy Parker. Parker's grandmother eventually gave her the nickname "Missy" when the family started worrying that Parker's unusual name would cause her to be picked on at school. |
