Mika Boorem's Beginnings
Mika Boorem began acting at the young age of six. At first she flexed her acting talent on the stage, but then her family moved to Los Angeles and Mika signed with an agent. Before long Mika Boorem was appearing in commercials and reoccuring roles on TV shows like Touched by an Angel and Ally McBeal.
Mika Boorem on the Big Screen
Mika's first movie role was in the film The Education of Little Tree in 1997 when she was just 10 years old. A year after that, Mika Boorem landed the role of Natalie in Jack Frost. The role won her a Young Artist Award. In 2000, Mika scored another nomination when she played Mel Gibson's daughter, Margaret, in The Patriot. |
