Margo Harshman was born on March 4, 1986 in San Diego, California and lived in La Costa California until she was 12, where she attended La Costa Heights Elementary School. She currently resides in Orange County, California. Margo has two older sisters, and one older brother. She began her career at the age of two, when her grandmother entered her into a beauty pageant, and started acting when she was 10, in a play. Since then has been in theatrical productions and TV commercials. She obtained an agent at age 12, and soon after got the role as "Tawny Dean" in the Disney channel series "Even Stevens". She recently starred in a movie called "Recipe for Disaster" and played the role of "Rebecca Korda". Margo auditioned for the role of "Brooke Franklin" for "Run of the House", which starts filming later this year, and will be shown on the WB.
Margo graduated from high school at age 16 and recently began attending college.
Margo likes sewing, hiking, surfing, reading, vintage clothes, shopping, art, acting, hanging out on rooftops, hacky sack, and ultimate frisbee. Her favorite food is artichokes, and she also loves chocolate. Margo likes watching scary movies, loves playing softball, and many other sports. She's been playing the piano since she was 5, and is also learning to play the guitar.
Her favorite actors are Sandra Bullock and John Travolta. Her favorite telvision shows are The Daily Show, Whose Line is it Anyway, and the Simpsons. Her favorite movie is Wayne's World, LOTR, Hedwig and the Angry Inch, and Requiem for a Dream.
Margo likes all times of music. Some of her favorite bands include: The Get Up Kids, Phish, Bob Marley, Eric Clapton, Refused, At The Drive In, Poison the Well, Cat Stevens, Saves the Day, Bright Eyes, Modest Mouse, Converge, Jets to Brazil, Hot Rod Circuit, Janis Joplin, Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix, The Doors, Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young, Simon and Garfunkel, Dave Matthews Band, Norah Jones, Weezer, Black Heart Procession, Jack Johnson, John Mayer, Pink Floyd, and Coldplay.
Margo is also involved with many charities and does a lot of volunteer work. |
