biography
Lori Ann Loughlin (pronounced "lock-lin") was born on July 28, 1965, in Queens, New York, and grew up in the town of Hauppauge, Long Island. She began modeling when she was 12, initially as a print model in national campaigns for companies like Sears and Bradlees.
She soon made the move to television ads, and started taking acting lessons when she was 14. The lessons paid off when only a few months later, she landed her first big acting gig when she was cast as Jody Travis on the ABC daytime soap, The Edge of Night. |
