| Biography |
In 1987 Joanna left Romania at age 15 and came to Venezuela, where she lived with some relatives. She continued her studies in Caracas until an model agency invited her to work as a model and her natural beauty landed her a career on 'the catwalk'. Next, came television and she acted in the soap opera "Pecado de Amor" for 18 months. In 1997, her agent sent some pictures to New York, where she was required for an important make up franchise. During her stay in New York Joanna took dramatic art classes at Susan Grace Academy. One day she was invited to host 'Lo Nuestro Awards' ceremony and afterwards more acting work came her way.
