Christine Taylor

Christine Joan Taylor was born on July 30, 1971, in Allentown, Pennsylvania. She caught the acting bug early on and was already appearing in local stage productions by the age of 3.
She attended Allentown Central Catholic High School and was molded into a very conservative teenager as a result -- but it was the '80s after all, when it was hip to be square. Christine graduated in 1989.
That same year, she was cast in the Nickelodeon series Hey Dude, where she played Melody Hanson, a sweet employee on a dude ranch. She stayed on until the show ended in 1991. By then, she was dating NCAA basketball player Bill McCaffrey and had moved to Los Angeles.
She managed to land guest-starring roles on popular TV shows such as Dallas, Life Goes On, Saved by the Bell, and Blossom. In 1992, she got the role of Marcia Brady in the Westwood Playhouse production of The Real Live Brady Bunch.
