Biography

Bitty Schram
A wonderful character with a heart of gold and a tough-talking exterior. Sharona Fleming has come to life with the help of this amazing actress. There is very little true information on her on the net. I think it's a shame, because I've become a recent fan of hers and so have many others. A darling lady in person, I hope you'll find more about her below...

Biography:
(This great write-up is supplied by Allison at the
Yahoo! Groups - bittyschram board - you can visit it here)
Born in Mountainside, New Jersey, BITTY SCHRAM (Amy) "attended the University of Maryland in the late 80s and early 90s on a tennis scholarship, graduated with a degree in advertising design - but had known since high school that she wanted to act" (Judith S. Gillies, Washington Post) and has worked steadily in film since
her hysterical film debut in Penny Marshall's "A League of Their Own," as Evelyn Gardner, right-fielder (Bitty, on a side-note - is left-handed) and mom who learns the hard way from Tom Hanks that "there's no crying in baseball!" Her other film credits include Warren Leight's "The Night We Never Met," "Dennis Hopper's "Chasers" and Paul Mones' "Fathers and Sons." On television, she
has been seen in the CBS pilot "Wish You Were Here" and the ABC pilot "Island Fever." Her theatre experience includes her Broadway debut in Neil Simon's play "Laughter on the 23rd Floor" (1993), directed by Jerry Zaks. Most recently seen in Matt Reeves' "The Pallbearer" with David Schwimmer and Gwyneth Paltrow,
Schram's upcoming projects included Jerry Zaks' "Marvin's Room" for Miramax and Michael Hoffman's "One Fine Day" for Twentieth Century Fox. Other theatre work includes: Slow Dance on the Killing Ground, One Acts by Warren Leight, Blackout.
