| Biography |
Angie Harmon was born the 10th august 1972 in Dallas Texas. Both of her parents were model and she began modelling at an early age. When Angie was 15 years old, and in the 10th grade, she won the national cover contest for Seventeen magazine. After that, she returned to graduate from Highland Park HIgh School. Upon graduation, settled in New York, where she follows her succesfull career by apparing editorially in edition of Elle,Cosmopolitan, french and italian edition of Vogue and Glamour. She has maked fashion parade for designers as Calvin Klein, Georgio Armani, Ralph Lauren ...
Angie was on a flight when she met David Hasselhof, who offer her the female leading part in his show Baywatch Nights even though she had no acting experience. She always believed that modelling would be her ticket to acting, so she accepted .Today she considers that working on Baywatch Nights was 44 lessons of hitting her mark. Angie learned those lessons well ,after Baywatch Nights she she portrayed Pamela Gregory in her fist movie Lawn Dogs directed by John Duigan and from the producer of 4 weddings and a funeral.
In the same year, she portrays Amanda Reardon. Amanda Reardon was a rookie of a top crime solving unit, the C-16 : FBI. But the show cancelled due to a bad programmation, just before Christmas. Months later she beat a temporary retreat from Los Angeles with some deception.
Back to Los Angeles, she did an audition for the part of Abbie Carmichael, for the reknowned show Law and Order. She won the role of the ambitious headstrong A.D.A. She has now a five years contrat. Angie Harmon is fiancee to Jason Sehorn since the 13 March 2000 and lives in New York. Angie Harmon has the dream of one day etablishing a children's ranch in Texas for underprivileged city youth. |
