Andreea was born in Birlad, Romania to Gheorghe and Simina Raducan on Setember 30, 1983. Her father originally wanted a boy, but now says he is quite happy with Andreea:) Although he did get a boy later. Andreea has a brother, Sorin, who is now 15. Andreea began gymnastics in 1988 at the age of 5
